Holy Knight/Elder covenant is slightly different for one they require conqueror’s haki. Domi reversi you need to land a killing blow. In the Rocks battle Roger and Garp could not damage him because of his conquerors haki defense, so the realistic thing to gather here is that they didn’t have to...
The writings been on the wall, I felt like Luffy would have to fight Loki before domi reversi was on the table but its almost certain now. Imu isn’t fully on Elbaf and Brook is a distraction for Gunko, the only realistic threat is Loki and his power has been built up all arc, perfect scenario is...
Current chapter confirms Kaido’s dragon is smaller, base Loki may even be bigger as well because giant Luffy was jumping rope with Kaido. Giant Luffy is an ant compared to dragon Loki, he may be as big as base Loki’s leg.
Imagine when they go into that ancient lab and he potentially gets equipped w Emet like tech, maybe can replace his body parts with that tough armor that could even break Warcury’s tusks.
That was my initial thought but after the flashback i’m convinced thats Dragon’s fight, thats the twin he couldn’t save from a bad path. Also considering that all the knights have immortality like the Elders it just really seems like Shamrock will be the strongest in the Holy Land after Imu...
It wasnt about the power he gained it was being acknowledged by his people. Even without the fox he had his clone technique, rasengan passed down, and Uzumaki chakra reserves he could have been great without the fox.
Could have been more fleshed out for sure, If you look at Mihawk at mf vs every other swordsman its like look at the variety of the slashes he can output, the size, the length, the shape. He can coil slashes around targets he doesn’t care to hit without sacrificing power and strikes with deadly...
He hasn’t done anything to be hated for so yeah the hate is irrational. People don’t want to view him as his own character and still shove him into this box of “Ace 2.0”, they’re very different.
I don’t think he will be that serpent but I do believe him and Garling could potentially have multiple powers one from their sword and one from personal consumption. Honestly I don’t even think Oda would do that for Shams but I could see it for Garling, higher status and less talent (headcanon)...
Sanji will awaken conquerors and attack Super Sommers then he will join Zoro to fight D&B. There’s no way Oda will pass up on a fight between a dynamic duo of equals.
The only things I didn’t like about it was the lack of Ryuma focus or Zoro visiting the grave on screen, also Kiku not reacting to the death of her brother.
I think its a cool concept because we needed a group of Marines to look forward to their development, this is their supernova. So many vice admirals and a severe lack of talent, Sword gives us a glimpse of a promising next generation. I also think they will be used to combat Cp0 in the war.
I don’t think anyone really disputes this, their intentions have been clear and plot will absolutely place them where they need to be especially in relation to encountering the Strawhats, which will probably conveniently happen the same time they meet Red Hair and wager all the stones.
I feel like Jinbe should have been rocking a gourd of water like Gaara, his potential has been greatly limited due to lack of a consistent water source. FM karate is cool but genuinely its not enough, he doesn’t feel as strong as he should be imo.
The fact he’s on his way to Nami’s group and Robin is still ensnared in Sommer’s ability the set up is all there, especially considering what Robin did for Sanji in Wano
