Mangoku does make it hypocritical but I guess he also thinks Mangoku was necessary. Killing Shin would be needless, because he had no chance of succeeding in that moment. So don’t send Shin to his death when he can escape, basically.
I’m going to hold my judgement because we don’t know what has or hasn’t happened. My initial reaction is this is stupid and my first big complaint in the arc - like wtf would Hara off panel it?
But rather than waste my energy, I’ll just wait to see how Hara makes sense of it all next week...
He’s incredibly impressive, I just think he has something of an asterisk to his name.
He is the ‘best’ fighter we will ever see. If China had a tournament like they did with the ten bows, he’d win it.
But weight plays apart in this series and that can fluctuate and change based on the...
I think it’s ok but it should have been built from Tou’s original visit to Shintei. I’d also change the timeline a bit.
Though I’d have preferred Han to have a genuine OG legend.
I don’t see why any General would leave Qi or Yan to join them though? Couldn’t be for career or financial...
I also don’t think there’s anything unique to a backstory for Yoko - if he’s from Han, why hide it? And if he’s from elsewhere, why join Han?
But it would be cool if there is more to him. I just think Tou was acknowledging him as more than brute muscle.

Why would he demote himself...
Her hype is absolutely monstrous. Probably the 3rd best hype after Ouki and Hakuki, though plot does dictate that.
Her stats match up accurately to the manga hype as well
If Shin’s subs could ensure Yoko stays away from Haku, would Sentou’un not have similar? All of Juuko had monstrous elites after all.
I’m not disagreeing with you, just thinking out loud
