IIRC, in the most recent interview on the topic, Oda said that once the SHs find the One Piece, the adventure ends. The manga itself doesn't; it just won't be island-to-island anymore, but it'll all be funneled into the worldwide war. I don't see it making sense to be able to topple the WG...

In the epilogue makes no sense, since the new WG after IMU & the Gorosei are defeated won't be against Luffy anymore. He gets to Laugh Tale, is recognized as PK, gets his PK bounty, then takes down the WG.
