That's a pretty cool concept and I'd say it makes sense to what the Admirals are.
They're basically "fallen heroes" who serve the side of "justice" but lost their way.
Makes sense that their WG assigned names represent their corrupted selves that were made that way through years of serving...
That's quite a glowing recommendation. I'll check it out when I get the time then!
I actually thought Kizaru didn't do much outside of some fight scenes but if you say it did a lot for him then for sure I should try it.
Would love to see your Kuzan analysis, pls tag me for sure when you post...
Thanks! I did some research trying to find their backstories. Fuji was straightforward but Kuzan was really hard....you may be right on Kuzan's potential tragic end.
That's the second time you've mentioned the dual personality thing, how does that work exactly? Like an alter ego?
Like what's...
Battles Without Honour, right? His character song is based on that.
I actually read the synopsis and am semi convinced that Akainu and Dragon are meant to rep the MC and his friend who he's ordered to kill.
Also Kizaru's character in that series has a twist which is why I expect some things...
Imo that's one of the possibilities.
a. Kizaru leaves WG, leaving a post for Orange Admiral to round up the secondary colour admirals. No clue what he does next
b. Akainu has his moment where he understands the WG is ass, proceeds to erupt, set his desk on fire, and goes out swinging with...
Actually now that I think of it, isn't Kuzan in Ohara pretty analagous to Kizaru in EH?
Buster call, C3 member kills best friend reluctantly (tries to atleast), ends up sparing protege of said friend who is wanted by WG (Robin/Bonnie), said C3 member gets mad at Akainu at the end.
At least...
Forgot about that
:josad:
What's Kuzan's deal actually? He seems like a really indecisive one. Outside of hating Akainu and liking Garp I can't really get a grasp on his idealogy.
Like Kizaru is more straightforward, he's a salaryman who likes his little bro and hates pirates, Kuzan is...
You don't think this will result in any change/character development for him?
I guess turning point is iffy but I doubt he will stay the same personally.....I think something is up, Oda clearly has the OG trio showing doubt throughout EH, and it seems logical that he might do the C3 pattern by...
Yeah he's the salaryman Admiral while Kuzan was the good but indecisive/lazy one. Not a bad guy at all but one who turns a blind eye.
After all his theme is the Three Monkeys: Do no evil, see no evil, hear no evil. And for Kizaru that means trying to focus away from the bad side of the WG and...
If he lives on the seafloor, would Jormungandr not be more appropriate?
I'm personally betting on Davy Jones being a Nika-esque figure who is BB's final zoan tbh.
Do you have any other instances of DJ sharing anything with Fenrir? If anything they seem opposed in origin; Jones was a cheat...
Yeah I'm 50/50 with Shanks always because he's simply never had the chance to do much, y'know?
Like his current feats are impressive but I wonder how well he'd look under the spotlight; I mean look at how people started calling the old gen frauds after GV lmao.
Part of me suspects the Garling...
You also have to consider that he made it onto Kaido's list without seemingly fighting or scarring him, which is interesting imo.
I will say however that the Kid and JB feats aren't quite so impressive as at first glance:
- Kid was busy charging a mega attack and was not expecting to get...
