I'm obviously exaggerating by comparing him to Beast, but only because they made an even more asinine claim by saying that Skull Knight is a generic design. There's way more characters that have a design similar to Zodd than Skull Knight imo

Void has an amazing design, but he's a villain, and we already did a villain designs one.

if you're going to call skull knight generic you can argue zodd is too, zodd looks like beast from x men

I think with things like that it's a matter of whether or not the story is portraying it as a bad thing. I'm not against dark subjects in games, movies, books etc., but they have to be very tactful with them. Too many stories are lazy with the dark subjects they address
