I think what seals the deal for me is that it’s very rare for non-Strawhats to get backstories this in-depth. The only exceptions that come to mind are Law and Oden. And in Law's case he may as well be an honorary Strawhat at this point, and in Oden's case there was a ton of plotlines, lore...
