If Bonney's father is ever gonna be a plot point, I think Garling would make the most sense because the story is really trying to drive home that he's a scumbag.

Honestly as someone who was a big fan of this theory, I kinda doubt it at this point. If Bonney being a clone was the main conflict for this backstory that would be one thing. But having Bonney be a clone on top of everything else that's happened in this flashback would feel very tacked-on.
