I wonder if Oda isn't setting up a curveball with the Zoro taking part of Kaido fight.... Kaido being a dragon... Zoro getting a sword that managed to scar Kaido... it's very in your face and Oda loves to pull a twist The problem is any other scenario would seem like a let down
