Luffy is obviously not defeating Borsalino before we even get the Zoro vs Lucci chapter. Luffy only beats the arc antagonist after the other Strawhats have finished their battles.

Eh, I'm annoyed at Luffy not having confidence in Zoro has he normally does. I have no problem with Lucci as an opponent. He's a strong/decent fight and is IMO comparable to the likes of Katakuri and Marco.
