Yeah, Joyboy's haki is absolutely amazing. I hope we get a fleshed out backstory for his failure against Im and the kings, cause his strength is pretty solidified, but I hope he's at least an interesting character.
I'd like to see Luffy have at least clashes against all those characters. We saw Luffy have his fights against Kizaru, and he's still around to be used in the future, so not like Luffy facing them means they can't amount to more.
Aokiji is the one that leaves me wondering if Oda will go that...
Drake being the next Sengoku in some ways would actually be pretty fitting. The only issue is whether Oda will offer that much focus to him to lead to it seeming satisfying.
Sengoku took Drake under his wing like he did Corazon, and he's in a leading position in Sword, so it would be fitting...
If Fujitora distances himself from the World Government's agenda, but is independent from Luffy's allies, I'd love to see Zoro vs Fujitora. Their clash in Dressrosa was pretty cool, and seeing Zoro overcome gravity would be great. Plus Fujitora's got a Supreme Grade Blade.
I've been for Zoro...
Elbalf next for sure. No need for a detour or a separate destination. They're with the giants and Elbalf has been set up for so long, regardless of whether it live up to expectations, it's time for the Straw Hats to see Elbalf.
The crew along with Bonney and Kuma should all get bounty upgrades. The Egghead incident being blamed on them, with Vegapunk dead and the Straw Hats having come to his island, I don't see why they wouldn't bigger bounties.
Of course there's the argument that it's too soon, but a...
I think a lot of the Straw Hats are nice to be fair. Sanji is especially nice to ladies and people who are in need of food, because of his background, past experiences and compassion.
He was the only one to want to help Kinemon so it's not unique for Sanji to be the only Straw Hat to intervene...
After their clash earlier, it'd be cool to see Luffy handle Saturn, but I don't see how he can keep him down. I don't think now will be the time to just suddenly have a member of the Gorosei die, but Luffy dealing with another one after Mars (with help) could be nice.
I think all those characters will play important enough roles in the final war, I just don't think they'll all get Gorosei match-ups. Vivi for instance will be pretty significant due to Im wanting her, but I don't think that means she'll face a Gorosei.
I'm interested to see how big a role...
Not always, but usually when the crew goes up against a big organisation in a saga Luffy faces the leader, Zoro faces the number 2 and Sanji the number 3. I think this'll, in general, apply for both the Admirals and the World Government. The Holy Knights seem like Revolutionary Army enemies if...
Sanji was treated much better pre-timeskip, but I'd say since Wano things have been much better, as far as fights go, for Sanji than most periods post-timeskip. Sanji had the S-Shark clash where he looked good though unfortunately the conclusion or lack of one was off-panel, not to mention he's...
I think I'll take a bit of a break from the forum to focus on my studies. I got A Levels exams to prepare for. I think I'll be gone from soon to end of May just to really concentrate on those. I might come back a bit before then, but I want to really put aside distractions till then.
So many amazing ones posted, I'll just add . I think Goku saving his friends during the Saiyan Saga is up there for me, same for Super Saiyan debut, Super Saiyan 2 debut, and so many other truly iconic moments.
My favourite characters were Gohan, Vegeta, Goku and Yamcha (I know he's a huge...
I mean Luffy might have a battle with him this arc, but I feel like for an extended 1v1, Dragon is a decent bet. He's the Revolutionary Army's leader and I think actually showing his abilities in battle makes sense. Losing to Im makes sense, but I think besting a Gorosei prior to that is...
