Oda could have made it such a great arc, all he had to do, was to expand on the ryuma and shusui/swords lore, expand more on the wano culture, have a strong evil Shogun and add more depth to Kaido's character. Instead we got Luffy running around and fighting fodder for most of act 1.

Who's talking about gear 4 being an asspull here. Have you even read my post before commenting, everybody in the fandom expected luffy had gear 4 after its ts training. Im talking about gear 5 here.

I'm talking about luffy here, not others. Its obvious at some point in this fight, he will be saying gear 5th and be asspulling some new techniques.

Would everyone agree that Kaido is arguably the worst one piece antagonist? For the way Oda has been hyping up the yonkos and kaido for years(10+) and we are this late in the yonko's arc, it has been such a dissapointment. I dont even think a flashback for kaido is going to save his character.

Zoro is going to be landing the final blow to kaido in the flower capital. It has already been teased a samurai slaying an eastern dragon over the capital.

Threads like these are hilarious. Oda already teased zoro having CoC before.(multiple times) Stop writing essay to try convice yourself that he doesnt/may not have CoC just to make yourself feel better. You should take what Oda writes as face value.
