Nika is the sun god, so some worshipped him. Whoever eats the gum gum fruit becomes Nika, because it’s shown that the god is stretching its arm. The Sun located in space means there could be a space adventure, and the god part means Nika is an ancient weapon.

Also, all straw hats with devil fruits are shown using their abilities in their childhood, so there’s more to Yamato’s childhood. Since the powers weren’t shown in her childhood, then she’s not going to get much focus with the other straw hats.
