Franky is the only one that didn’t disappoint in any major way. Wasn’t begging for food like Luffy, moving boxes like Jimbe, needed “rival badmouthing him” boost like Zoro, leave Vegapunk in front of his killers after promising to protect him like Sanji, etc. Anyone trying to say anything else...

Unless Oda pulls some BS, I always maintained that it made no sense for Saturn to be killed on Egghead. It would make the regeneration gimmick lose any threat if it was overcome the very first time we see it. It would make the rest of the Gorosei lose all menace.

People using the new panel as if it wasn’t obvious to anyone with a brain that Kuzan bears no loyalty to Blackbeard. We already see how he joined. He wasn’t impressed by BB’s power and was willing to scrap with his entire crew. It was BB that had to apologize to him and make an offer.

Whitebeard apparently didn’t know that Ace was Roger’s son before going out to beat him up after he fought Jimbe. It might just be a case of serendipity. WB saw his potential, and it’s possible that he saw Roger’s son being the one to lead the next generation and carry on his will.
