The WG will fall after the SHs reached Laughtale.
It makes zero sense otherwise, since they learn all about the Void Century, Ancient Kingdom, Will of D, Ancient Weapons etc. on Laughtale according to Roger/Oden/Rayleigh.
Why on earth should the guys so closely tied to all the Void Century...
Why should them finally showing their powers here change anything?
We still know nothing about Imu and if you apply the same logic to Blackbeard we've learned about all his crews powers a while ago, too.
If we use the CP9 measuring, Koby went from a 1 to a 4000 (about pre-skip Lucci level right now).
Luffy on the other hand went from a 500 to something like a 500,000 (Shakky said that Rayleigh was a hundred times stronger than them back on Sabaody, when Luffy was about a 5000).
So Koby grew...
Sandman is correct in his translation for the first panel (Luffy talking in close-up).
Luffy says " お前あんなに殴ったのに効かねェな~~!!! "
"お前 " means "you" (singular).
He only talks about Saturn here, when he says "So all those punches meant nothing to you?!"
Same thing when he gets really annoyed about...
They are basically like every other Yonkou crew right now.
Their captain carries the entire crew on his back.
His best three men are helpful at least (while not nearly on his level) and the rest of the crew just enjoys the ride.
I don't think Saturn gets outright replaced.
We just saw that the Gorosei communicate telepathically, something Devon can't do. On top of that she would look like an idiot in a Gorosei meeting when topics are brought up, that she has no idea knowing about.
The Gorosei and Imu aren't idiots (at...
There won't be a real fight against them.
The ancient robot will probably hold them back for a while, but that's about it.
Who else should do anything?
Luffy will run out of G5 soon, Zoro isn't fresh either (still fighting Lucci and already injured), Sanji was ordered to run away and still...
They aren't fighting the Gorosei here ...
Zoro is already injured, panting and still hasn't beat Lucci.
Luffy has already been in his Nika form three times and it's about to expire soon again.
Sanji isn't in best condition either (getting kicked around by Kizaru).
None of the other...
Why is anyone surprised?
Every single major arc in OP has the exact same formula to a tee:
1) Reaching island and splitting up due to some unexpected circumstances.
2) Wandering around meeting the major (good) support characters of the arc.
3) Learning about a huge problem and the villains...
In my opinion it's still one of two scenarios:
1) Blackbeard is part of the final war against Imu and helps bring the latter down (everyone vs Imu basically), then tries to take over as ruler of the world. That's when the final battle between the SHs and BB pirates for the future of this world...
Respectfully asking - are you just trolling or are you too dumb to read?
@Dragon777 even said multiple times that Blackbeard WILL obviously be a major part of the final saga. Just that he thinks Blackbeard won't be the last enemy standing in the final battle, because Imu is still there.
A take...
One Piece has always been this way though.
Fights and supposed powerlevelw were never perfectly consistent. Oda never cared much about it.
It has only been recently (especially since Naruto ended) that this fandom turned into a cheap powerscaling brothel though.
That doesn't make sense though (at least for their Egghead mission).
Even Caterina Devon states how surprised/shocked they were that one of the Gorosei descended from Mariejois and showed up on Egghead.
Can we just discuss this chapter properly and not like some 14-year old kids with self-esteem issues?
Two out of three posts in this thread are about "lmfao xyz took a massive L!" or "hahaha stay in the mud xyz!"
It's getting ridiculous really.
Having said this:
1) What do you think were...
Without bantering and trying to force an agenda:
If you haven't realized by now that Saturn is the main villain of this arc I don't know what to say ...
On another note:
I'm still chuckling when I think about all the fans that came at me for stating that OP ending in 5 years was far, far off (back in 2019 when Oda said OP would end in 5 years).
"Heck no, you're just an idiot, Oda can easily end it in 5 years, just watch!"
Now we're sitting...
Basically anyone that is part of a fandom and not the story itself has horrendous takes.
The discussions on social media and forums have been getting worse and worse for years now.
Look back at old discussion threads from around 2014 or earlier (apforums for example) - difference in...
