Oda’s pacing post time skip needs work, but I am still enjoying the story. Wano’s ending was the most disappointing to me.

Exactly! Oda enjoys drawing gear 5 and I enjoy it as well. It perfectly encapsulates Luffy’s journey.

I forgot to mention the giant robot is “waking up!” That’s the one thing I have been wanting to see this arc. I think Luffy will be able to use the voice of all things and command the robot! However, I really want Franky to bond with it too!

I like the panel of Bonney looking at Luffy and realizing he is Nika the sun god. We don’t need to worry about Luffy laughing about Vegapunk’s stabbing because it’s not like Oda really kills anyone post time skip. This chapter was too short and we have a break.

I swear Oda’s editors are just yes men. Look at Wano, where were the editors? That arc was way too long and contrived. Plus there were too many unnecessary characters. It’s an editors job to ask is this necessary? What is the end goal of this arc? What will the SHs learn?
