When people call Kidd and Law “the WB and Shiki of this era” its not that they are exactly 1 to 1 parallels with them as characters, it’s about the role they play in the narrative. Kidd and Law are Luffys greatest peers/rivals (In Kidds case more of a rival while in Laws case more of an ally)...

That’s not really negative portrayal for her imo. Just more of positive portrayal for Kidd and Law I think. Just like Luffy being impressive against Kaido isn’t necessarily negative portrayal for Kaido.

No. It’s more like they are the two SH/MCs so Oda wanted to show them off more on the roof. Kidd and Law are still closer to Luffy, roof just wasn’t their place to shine. Just as Big Mom is still an equal threat to Kaido even though she was treated like basically an extra on the roof.

It’s not filler, but it was definitely a SH flex/fan service fight. It was hyped as a 5v 2, but You could tell that it might as well have just been Luffy and Zoro vs Kaido. Oda didn’t even try and hide how much he was holding back Kidd, Law, and Big Mom and how they were being put to the side...

Even if Kidd and Law were subordinates and Zoro was a Captain. If Kidd and Law defeated Big Mom while Zoro defeats a YC1, Kidd and Law would still get the higher bounty. The two captains will get the higher bounty because they are pulling off the greater feat. Simple.
