The funny part is that Kuma didn't even go through with the agreement; the deal was Zoros life instead of Luffys, but instead of straight up killing Zoro he gave him a chance at surviving, so he lets him take Luffys pain. Kuma leaves before he could even see the result, whether he lived or died...
