Snipers are not really strong in One Piece. I mean, Van Augur and even Yasopp doesn't seem to be strong. They can probably one shot most fighters of course - from a distance and with the advantage of surprise, with Haki and whatnot, even someone like Katakuri can't avoid it, for instance. But it...
The fan in me wants usopp to end Wano quite strong. The realist in me knows that no sniper has ever been portrayed as powerful in One Piece. Deadly, yes, but powerful not at all.
So I sadly don't have much expectations for Usopp anymore (or most SH for that matter)
:okay:
Seriously... Nothing changes if she's not there ? Come on, give me a break. WCI would have to be entirely different because she saved Nami and Chopper in the Seducing Woods, helped Chopper deal with Brulee and co (and wasn't caught back probablky because of how fast she is), stopped an...
I would agree with this if Oda hadn't singled out Carrot again on Onigashima.
Also, we all know by now that Pauly was a red-herring from Oda. We suspected him at first to be the shipwright of the crew, but it was Franky who was chosen. And yet Pauly at first had the spotlight.
Meanwhile, if we...
Oda took the pain to separate Carrot from all the other Minks. She is the only one with the Strawhats directly. That's what important : of all the Minks, she has been signled out since the start of WCI, and haters have no reasons to explain it or handwave it away.
I'm not saying that there is...
Perhaps.
But then it'll prove that Oda has lost almost all his talent, because nothing of what he did with those characters since Zou would make sense.
Because that's what Carrot haters don't have at their side : logical storytelling and the most basic element in any reflexion on a theory...
Lol at Carrot haters. Do you guys even understand how stories work ? And seriously. Carrot is a unique, very distinct character, but somehow she is bland and not unique at all ? Please...
Sure, she is like Nami who is shrewd and cowardly - ah no, she's impulsive and brave. perhaps like Robin...
Kaido's the original, and he did that with one arm. Yamato's weaker since he need two, but he got style, with the kimono, the mask... Basically, Daddy's the best, but Yamato's the brightest.
Honestly, I'd say that it's more or less even between the BMP and the BP.
The BMP works rather well together, but they are so afraid of their mother that they can act like morons (like Opera) and it can cost them.
Meanwhile, the BP seems to not really be that loyal about anyone but Kaido in...
It took literally one panel for Zoro to master it. He yelled at it and that was it. Then Enma was already used as a joke tool chapters after that. Not something detrimental or hard to master at all.
I think he'll take her lightly at first, then she'll start landing serious hits, it'll make him angry and he'll use serious moves too, citing Pedro and what not. Then Carrot will go Sulong on his ass and beat him.
He'll fight Carrot. She's inherited Pedro's will and she was the most affected at her death. Plus Perospero is the one who escorted Pedro out of WCI the first time.
Wasn't Toki certified dead however ? I seem to remember Momo stating that people saw her dying in the castle but not Hyori, prior to the Komurasaki reveal.
I think that yamato is very much the current Oden. Like him he seems to want to leave Wano but is forbidden to - perhaps even forbidden to leave Onigashima. But it's quite clear that Yamato design is meant to evoke both his father and Oden, stating where he's from and what he's aspiring to.
Average chapter for me.
I'm really not happy with Oda's use of Big Mom and Sanji this arc and while Yamato is shaping up to be a very cool character, and probably the "Oden" of this era, having Luffy struggling against F6 or Zoro against fodders is rather bad.
Did people not calling Emna an instant power-up even read the manga ? That thing unleashes monstrous slashes at the slightest move and Zoro mastered it in one panel already. It's just as much an instant power-up than the Raid Suit, only more subtle.
