Sanji stans are delusional people who think too highly of Sanji, far more than he actually worth.
Zoro stans are looking down on others because Zoro is made strong & have preferential treatment from the author itself.
If I were to chose, I'd prefer a delusional dude than a bully, because they...
And this is only because Oda refuses to give something special for Sanji to match Zoro's ACoC and Black Blade (both of which is super exclusive & extraordinary).
- In Long Ring Long Land arc, Sanji met a ice user enemy.
- In Water 7 arc's Sea Train, Sanji met Wanze who move around with a skate to create flames.
- In Enies Lobby arc, we see Sanji spins his legs so fast it heated up.
These 3 are literally back to back and shown blatantly in panel, acting...
I'll just put my 2 cents in :
The Wings statement doesn't mean Zoro=Sanji in strength/power.
Why? I'll make this super short:
1. Wings are the most helpful/contributed the most to Luffy becoming PK (hence why the full title is Wings of PK).
2. Zoro's entire contributions (what he did for the...
What do you mean?
If it's about the fans, it matters because Sanji fans would get a W anyway whether Sanji has CoC or not. But very few notice this, and too fixated with CoC.
Is there any Sanji fans that realize Sanji not having CoC is more impressive than him having it? 🙄
Being able to be very close to Zoro while having no ACoC let alone CoC is a superb showing.
Being able to be this strong with only human effort (him+family) while others needing heaven's blessing...
Sanji is already be the most extensively developed character in the entire Anime Manga and yet you still want to expand more on that...
Dude, even a Sanjibro like me understand that not everything must revolve around Sanji.
On another note, you forget 3 things :
1. Sanji's Exoskeleton being...
It would be unfair/unbalanced. Think of Itachi without the disease/health debuff.
At the end of the day, Sanji is meant to be equal to Zoro all in all, and Sanji has a lot of things that Zoro doesn't.
So to balance them, Sanji must "get/have" less than Zoro in combat, especially since Zoro is...
So far ACoC is shown more to be a trail of lightning (more fluid) coming off of someone, often still emanating before or after the clash.
CoA is more on the point of impact (Page One vs Sanji, Jinbe vs WW, Ulti vs Usopp), and often a straight streak vs the more curved ACoC. ACoC also has this...
Nah, blue & white is very thematic to Sanji, so I doubt this will get changed. And Ifrit came too late, so changing it soon after it's introduction is not a good move.
If anything, adding stuff to Ifrit without changing it's theme is the way to go. For example, adding lightning.
It doesn't matter how big the fans wants Sanji to not be a top tier, Oda already decided that to happen and this if fixed & guaranteed.
How Sanji will eventually reach it, is better done with Science or the Love stuff, because Haki alone is too generic. Having special powers is always better...
Yamato is a low top tier and having it. Sanji, being a minimum low top tier too, won't devalue it.
It is guaranteed that Sanji will be at least Yamato level.
Post timeskip long arcs, I wouldn't change them. I would just compress them to like half of their length.
If you actually understand those arcs, you would notice that 90% of the things will stay the same if you compress their length to like 50-60%.
The "replacement"?
1. Do actual pirate stuff...
1. His speed alone renders any need for ranged attacks useless.
2. AP boost. Correct. Adding lightning to his Ifrit is very reasonable & makes sense, both shounen and scientifically.
3. FS. Correct. It's a must have.
4. His Exo being inactive allows him to not hurt women when they attack him...
It doesn't matter if Sanji is actually better or not, when Oda prioritizes Zoro to be #2, he will look better.
This is why you don't see Oda gave Zoro's character any risks, no poor performance, no actual weakness, no personality flaw, etc.
