We haven’t seen Kid in a all out fight really so unless we get a statement from him, Killer or Kaido we won’t know. Kid probably got stronger in prison but not to the same degree Luffy did, not sure about Killer.

I read part of the op, it’s complete nonsense. Remember the boost Croc got just by rotting in impel down at least Zoro has been fighting and actively training. There’s been too much plot pointing towards Zoro facing Kaido at some point if you chose to ignore it that’s on you.

I still think highly of him, problem is people too caught up in week to week events same thing happened with Kaido v Scabbards. As for how he compares to his peers I’d say: Beckman > Marco~King > Katakuri

I don’t think he’ll kill Kaido, think it’ll be a third party if anyone at all. Panel time isn’t the best argument to use though.

They’re not all equals just like warlords but obviously very capable pirates, the downplay is very idiotic.

I can understand why you’d feel that way, it’s because he’s barley had any panel time so we’ve only seen him use basic stuff. Oda is saving Kid’s showcase for Kaido, I’m confident he’ll blow us away once he finally lets loose properly.

They’re a great group of characters with unique skill sets and personalities, the manga is much better off with them in it. Some of you just get too caught up in powers scaling so you downplay any of them as soon as they take damage. My favourites are Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Law and Capone.
