Even though Law is one of my favourite characters, he's got a death flag ever since his immortality surgery was revealed. It would be great for the story if Oda killed a very important character off.
However, it would be horrible if he killed him here in the fight against Blackbeard.I don't think...
What's the point of Law vs Blackbeard being showing in the opening post? Of course I am not going to read the comments before I read the chapter, but I literally cannot dodge the spoil if it's right below the link. It's the first time something so major has been spoiled like that in the opening post.
I don't get people who claim that awakening was used by him in the fight. When Luffy/Kata/Doffy awakened it became so blatantly obvious so why would the case be different for Kaido's awakening where you'd just have to assume that a strong ability is his awakening?
He is not awakened, and if...
My favourite is Law if we're not counting the SH because we've known them for too long.
Least favourite is easily Drake who was handled terribly by Oda.
Blackbeard and Kid probably for 4-5 place. The rest are equally okay.
What do y'all think was the worst thing about Wano? For me it was probably Kaido's lack of depth/backstory, second the lack of tension (the retconned deaths we have were offpaneled lol) and above all the very rushed/anticlimatic ending.
Y'all are missing the point.
If there's significant preparation time involved for small island DC, in a world with who knows how many islands it's just not that impressive. It only lives up to the hype if:
1)there's no significant preparation time
2)this isn't all it can do
Whitebeard was said to...
WB instantaneously tilted Marineford 30 degrees and produced waves that were at least 200 meters long, all that while not trying to drown his crewmates.
Lulusia, as shown in this chapter is a particularly small island/country (unless the castle is some gigantic 50 mile building). It's also probably true that it took a while to prepare this attack (at least two/three weeks).
So, we witnessed a small island/country DC with week long...
Is there a good explanation for Robin not to tell Luffy about Coby/Hancock/Amazon Lily? Seemed like extreme plot armour in retrospect and I didn't even notice at first.
For the same reason Crocodile came back? Doffy knows more secrets than Crocodile and is a Celestial Dragon. He is also one of the most liked characters in the story, Oda should definitely break him out of jail and he's pretty much hinted at an impel down incident for 160 chapters.
