The arguments to say otherwise from the Zoro fanatics are pretty weak.
The evidence is clear. Why would Zoro waste this much time if he could end Lucci easily? Luffy put the leopard down much faster. Period.
Will see this thread multiple times from here on out I imagine. It was like that post G5 and Oda himself admitted it won’t be for everyone, gotta admit he had the balls to write what he wants. It’s his manga. Go read something else if it bugs you so much. Oh wait you won’t or at least won’t stop...
Starting to dislike how round Oda’s artstyle is getting. More and more, it’s even rounder than Wano. I think especially on Luffy in the new Shonen Jump cover.
Far too mascot looking. Oda’s artstyle peaked for me in Water 7. The mix of more detailed shading/mid tones, sharper angles WITH round...
This site emphasizes the agenda wars more than any forum. Plot of the story seems to come second for discussion. Worstgen is the fun agenda wars forum and it’s all about the sport of what set you claim.
For more thorough discussions I go elsewhere
It’s not that Zoro stocks are going down. It’s that his hardcore fans base over exaggerates his strength to absurd levels. Contrary to the story. He’s already strong as hell but he won’t be the strongest.
Some of y’all sound like children who are biased just because you think a character is...
Zoro is not on the caliber to go toe to toe with a yonko. I know you are a Zoro fan but the evidence is right in your face. I also believe Zoro can defeat Lucci once he goes all out, but it’s not going to be a casual defeat like G5 did. Luffy didn’t need as much time nor was breathing hard...
Bankai was more interesting and is more diverse. Cooler and less pretentious in my opinion but I do like the pretentiousness and abstract meta feeling of Domain Expansions also
Kuma has so much build up as a character and him as a Buccaneer or someone really strong. For him not to get his moment to shine would be atrocious, since this isnt that kind of pessimistic manga.
I think you gotta look at narrative purposes and the relativity to the caliber of characters we...
Gojo and Kakashi similarities design wise
The dynamic of the cast even though at least here characters get killed off
The cliche of the demon inside the main character, very very common in these kind of shonen battle manga
Those are the obvious ones
It’s easy to see Naruto, HxH, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho.
JJK is the urban ghost demon battle manga that uses those building blocks for today’s demographic.
What are you talking about? Pirate King always has been referred to as the strongest of the seas. There is only one example to go by, and it is Roger, who was considered the top period. Its more than that sure but thats the bar set. Zoro will be Luffy's Rayleigh. I think both will be surpass...
It definitely hasnt failed. Its gaining a lot of mainstream traction. Dunno how you can call something a failure when it is one of the biggest fictional franchises worldwide.
Shoehorned? That phrase is getting annoying as if a creative person can’t add things as they go.
Stop romanticizing the “it was all planned from the beginning”. The series is big, let the man come up with new ideas as well.
Some shit can look like a random addition and other things not so...
No the forum doesn’t downplay them at all. You are only thinking that because of the responses people have for the Zoro/Mihawk exaggerations which are so often.
Can’t count how many posts I’ve seen from a group of members who swear that these two characters are the strongest or will be. It’s...
