Nami, Usopp, Chopper and Brook didn't get real fights in the final arc of the Yonko saga, an arc that lasted more than 4 years. Wano suffers the most of the introduction of characters that didn't need to exist.

Only Luffy, Sanji, and to a lesser extent Franky were useful and present during the climax of the arc. That tells you something. The panic mode that Oda put the Straw Hat in this arc is not justifiable, and it just doesn't work for me. That's the main problem One Piece suffers post time skip...

Do we really need Sanji saving Bonney for the 100th time this arc ?

Pretty dumb way to remove Sanji from the battle after the last chapter, and giving Sanji all those lines for no reason. Oda made SH pretty useless, just running away. It's just Nika Piece now. Even Franky wasn't the one to take out that VC, and after this chapter i bet Jinbe will help zoro...

Sanji will fight Kizaru, then Zoro will come and they'll defeat him together. Pretty straightforward stuff.

I was 100% sure Laffitte will be on Egghead, the last time we saw that guy is at the beginning of the Zou arc (not counting the flashback). We saw all other Blackbeard pirates multiple times since then, and we know all of their powers. Oda is really holding him for something special.

Because of narrative, he needs to keep Zoro out of the story for a while it's just easier to control the narrative that way, because Zoro is just too strong.

That's the entire point of Lucci's character this arc, being arrogant and salty how far SH have progressed, completely delusional. He was saying similar stuff to Luffy too. His defeat will be even sweeter because of that.

Zoro will cut him in half next chapter.
