Same universe and same author, promising great art with a boring plot, if there's any at all. Sadly, Bleach went downhill after its first few arcs, the Quincies and Yhwach (?) gave it the final blow.
From my knowledge, this is wrong. I've read somewhere that he does indeed have assistants now who will be doing most of the drawing, and the recent Hiatus was in order for them to adapt his drawing style until he's pleased with it. Don't have the source anymore, though.
