Chapter Title: In Order To Win
Kanjou and the Gyoku Hou are fighting for their lives to break free from Seika’s army. The soldiers begin to cheer and feel relieved when they finally break out, but Kanjou reminds them that the rear...
Retreat seem like the only reasonable decision at this point. Qin doesn't have a center and trying a siege will only result in exposing themselves.
It's bit of a shame Yotanwa's battle was offscreened, but oh well.
Ouki's vassals were not generals, they were "army commanders" whatever this means.
Rokuomi, Ryuukoku and Kanou were eventually promoted to generals, but it was after Coalition War. Tou became general soon after his masters death.
I think people are exaggerating a bit. This version of Akou was still strong enough to exchange blows with Gakushou. The same Gakushou who oneshoted Mouten. Based on that it's safe to assume he still had enough strengh to be considered a martial beast. In a ground fight he ofc would be useless...
Shin's performance against Houken wasn't his regular, because he had the revenge weight. He was fighting the man who killed his two mentors and nearly killed the love of his life Kyoukai. Even then this fight ended in him loosing his life. It's a similar situation as with Mougou vs Renpa where...
A lot of rage. Plus ocasionally some hilarious copium.
My favorite comments:
-"Ousen will still turn this battle around."
-"Ousen expected to loose and he walked into a trap to gain intel."
-"Shiryou will survive and will be taken into custody."
-"Yotanwa will go into killing spree and even the...
It's an extreme diff victory for either of them.
It really depends how badly you think Zenou was wekeaned against Jyoukaryuu who is canonically inferior to Jiaga.
Gakujou loosing to Renpa despite ridiculus number advantage was kinda nuts. Renpa did give him some praise, but it's unclear if he even achieved anything specific before Renpa's glaive reached his neck.
I still think the important role in overcoming Ousen's pincer was Seika's morale and quality of troops. Sento'un has the martial might, but he lacks in other factors. Brief reminder that he was in a similar situation when he was trying to reach Gohoumei's HQ, but he actually failed due to geting...
It's crazy that within past three chapters we lost Akou, Denrimi and Shiryou. And now Ousen is pretty much without an army and has one last sub.
Akakin is the MVP as always.
Karin at least has good strength stat so we know Hara is planing for her to be a beast. Chougaryuu's only real martial feat is dueling Shin for less then one chapter, landing few heavy blows and then dying.
:gokulaugh:
Renpa did not need anyone shouldering the role of a fighter for him...
