Yeah I can see that. Law brought in sales because Oda took the time to develop him individually and with the SHs. He could have put in a fraction of that same effort on Kid.
Oda already shared his backstory in an SBS and probably doesn’t think it’s necessary to share it in the manga. But I am here to say that it is absolutely necessary to give us Kidd’s backstory!

My only concern is aren’t we too late in the series for a Kidd comeback? Unlike the SHs defeat, Oda’s never showcased Kidd and his crew the same way. I don’t know if Kidd will still be in the race for pirate king, but I do have hopes that he will be a pivotal player in the final war.
