It really depends on the character haki level. YC1+ Luffy got ACoA and ACoC and yet in G4 (so while in a temporary mode) he was barely able to keep up with Kaido. G5 was the real deal
He is a mediocre pirate with a awesome design and a mysterious and incredibly interesting DF.
He decided to keep his word and fight alongside Kaido even though he knew the dangers
Multiple cool clashes where he didn't look overpowered for no reason when he didn't spend 2 years training...
I'm not so sure about this. Unless he hasn't awakened his DF, he has very little room to grow. He also possess the strongest hammer in the world.
Better control over ACoC or a generic haki boost won't change much.
On the other hand, Zoro and Sanji are about to receive massive boosts, hakiwise...
I think all of them could've been a great addition to the story with some tweaks. As they are, they represented well enough all possible paths an untrained strawhat crew could've taken and added some color to an otherwise bleak NW pirating world. I'd have killed some of them

The best solution is making the ability to turn into his opponent nightmare Killingham's ultimate technique. Stealth Black + Omen + Killingham's own abilities in a single body would be quite troublesome. The only issue I have with this is that we already got a Stealth Black copycat 100 chapters...
Gaban and Rayleigh are significantly weaker than Kaido and Big Mom imo. I don't think they can stall them much longer than Yamato did on Onigashima
Loki is overrated, I doubt he is stronger than Luffy or Kaido
Well, Zoro's EoS opponent has been settled since the very beginning of the story. Unless Mihawk gets defeated before the war on the WG, which is highly unlikely, his level is extremely close to Zoro's (and consequently Sanji's) ceiling.
Mihawk and Shanks are rivals so I'd say they are about the...
