The last chapter I remember where the Spoiler providers were like: "I don't want to spoil this, you need to see it for yourself." was the Sabo reveal back in Dressrosa. If it's something like that, well then...:zosleepy:
Luffy is on a Yonko level, the sky splitting pretty much confirmed it. Also Luffy literally told Yamato in 1026 that he wanted to One v One Kaido which I think will cement his status. People waiting for 'a one v one with both Luffy and the Yonko fully healthy, with no breaks, and no help' are...
On design I'd give him a 9. He is a badass looking character, both in base and in his Zoan form. As for his character itself, I'd give him a 4. I'm not sure what Oda wants Kaido to be. He wants to start a war that will be the biggest war ever, but he's also a drunk that has little control over...
For me it's the Big Mom Pirates. I cannot for the life of me figure out why Oda shoehorned her and her crew into this arc. We're told that she "Wants revenge against Strawhat" for what happened, but he easily could have saved her for a future arc such as Elbaf. So far her presence has solely...
I don't like judging an arc until it's complete and I've reread the entirety of it at once. I've done this with every arc post timeskip in order to get a better feel for Oda's intentions for the arc, and how his execution went. So far though I'm pretty disappointed in Wano. There's way too many...
I think Oda is aiming to wrap up the manga soonish, and all these power ups are just so that his performance in the final war doesn't look like an asspull. I mean Luffy is clearly gonna be around Yonko level after Wano, you can't really grow much beyond that.
It was definitely a lot smaller. Back then Naruto was king pretty much everywhere, and had a far faaar bigger community. One Piece didn't really "blow up" until Marineford. However I didn't really participate in forums back then, just read the chapters on One Manga (Any OG's remember this...
Been reading One Piece weekly since Thriller Bark. The mystery and intrigue were my primary interests (Will of D, Void Century, etc) and still are. I also really enjoy the overall world-building and characters. I want to see Luffy become Pirate King, I want to see Zoro become the world's...
I think this is the start of the great tragedy. Act 3 is going to end soon with annihilation of the alliance. Luffy missing, and most of the alliance defeated or captured.
Fun fact, only 4 more chapters and this arc will surpass the combined length of Water 7 and Enies Lobby, and it looks like we're not even nearing the end of this arc.
If Oda was writing EL like Wano, there would be far, far, FAR more focus on the side characters. Which is my main issue with Post timeskip One Piece. The Strawhats now are basically sideline characters, in comparison to the arc specific side characters. When's the last time my favorite...
We have 2 chapters left until we reach 100 chapters in Wano. At that point it will officially surpass Dressrosa as the longest arc in One Piece. Given Oda's slow pacing and that we haven't reached the 'low point' yet. I think we have like 40-50ish chapters left in this arc. Which would probably...
