One Piece really blew up BECAUSE of Marineford. If it was really a bad arc, why did it make people get into One Piece?
You may not like it, and I'm fine with that, but objectively it's an arc that gets people invested into One Piece. This isn't subjective, it's facts.
Nah, that would be Enies Lobby. Only good things in it were Robin's moments and flashback + Usopp's moment + Luffy vs Lucci.
Most of CP9 was just gag fights and it had a stupid plot: why would CP9 just give the key away to the Straw Hats. They were supposed to be professional deadly assassins...
@LayerZ You are trying to downplay Shanks so hard. The fact that Kid had no time to react just means that Shanks is so fast he can speed blitz Kid. Yet you are trying to use this as an anti-feat, when it's actually a great feat for Shanks.
Because the thread is about characters that would have made the series better if they didn't exist.
Do you think in a thread like this I would talk about a character's power and not the character itself?
Kaido and Big Mom were weaker characters than all the other Emperors. I even mentioned...
Maybe for being an actually not annoying ass character who nosebleeds every second and just being obnoxious?
No detailed character backstory, no depth to his character?
Who the fuck cares?
All I care about whether I enjoy a character's screentime. Sanji doesn't provide me that, sorry.
Call me...
Smoker is charismatic af.
Did everyone forget when he told the upper brass of the Navy "to eat shit" during Alabasta?
He gave money to a girl to buy more ice cream scoops. He refused to take credit for the Straw Hat crew's achievements.
Smoker oozes of great charisma, but everyone forgets just...
Is "Mihawk = fraud" a thing in the Japanese fandom as well or only the western?
I think it's just a western thing, so Oda probs doesn't even know it exists. But who knows.
Shanks is a well written Yonko.
Shanks is the antihesis to what a Celestial Dragon is despite by all means being a “god”. He’s willing to get humiliated and laughed at (i.e. Higuma spills booze on him) whereas the Celestial Dragons are all about pride, looking down on others, and projecting an...
He is a great character, you can't deny that.
I really like how Shanks is the antihesis to what a Celestial Dragon is despite by all means being a “god”. He’s willing to get humiliated and laughed at (i.e. Higuma spills booze on him) whereas the Celestial Dragons are all about pride, looking...
How should be able to name them when Oda hasn't given us names?
We know they exist because on the cover page Bartolomeo was burning Shank's flags, so he clearly has island under his territory. Why would Shanks be any different from any other Yonko?
Just because something isn't shown doesn't mean...
