I believe we'll see Luffy face to face with Imu sooner than 1200 but there's not a lot to add if that's really what Oda wants. Dispatching the three HK and the Macguffin, Giant melodrama, and Loki vs Imu can take up 16 chapters.

We've known it was a 2v1 since before Act 3 of Wano, though. Not that getting help should even be an issue because that's all Luffy ever does. GV was actually better for Roger because we saw that Domi Reversi amped Rocks beyond his own strength, and he was in a position where Roger was sympathetic.
