Yes, but the other factions in that game also had their own PMs for their members to communicate with each other.

My only experience with Mafia here was the game Ariess hosted a couple of months ago with superheroes, and in that game, all members of a given faction were informed of who was on their side through a group PM.

This is even a thing? Even if it was a thing, the town side should have had the opportunity to have their own chat/server as well + awareness of other members in the team who are town (privately).
