I swear Oda’s editors are just yes men. Look at Wano, where were the editors? That arc was way too long and contrived. Plus there were too many unnecessary characters. It’s an editors job to ask is this necessary? What is the end goal of this arc? What will the SHs learn?

The main problem with the Strawhats is that they are reactionary characters. Since they are reactionary they are also predictable. One Piece’s downfall is its length. If it had ended sooner, then I believe the flanderization of the Strawhats wouldn’t have happened.
