My guess on the plot:
Gaban's role here will be to show Luffy some trick about Haki or Imu's power.
Then Round 2 of Luffy vs. Imu will be Luffy's "win".
That will force Imu to transform like Frieza, but he will use up so much power that he will be pulled back to MJ, setting up the final war.
Because Zoro's move against King was nothing despite agendaboys trying to hype it up. One of the weakest 3 sword moves.
If you remove CoC, Zoro objectively used a stronger move against Pica, let alone Kaido.
I think Imu can turn it on and off. On Egghead island, he turned it on, because Gorosei also had it.
I assume if Killingham can turn it on and off, the same goes for Gorosei.
Is it possible that the contracts per organization are something like
Abyss Covenant -> Gorosei
Deep Sea Covenant -> Holy Knight
Shallow Sea Covenant -> CP0
They were called the Celestial Dragon puppets after all.
Lucci and Kaku seemed to have the black Omen that the HKs got too.
Socialism can't coexist with nature. The best examples of "socialism" are Nordic countries, which are highly capitalistic, but they have strong social programs.
But the difference there is that the social programs feed off the capitalism. They don't produce anything themselves.
