For example if Sanji knew what the Suit's defensive limits were that would allow him to take more risks but right now he can't do that because he doesn't know if the suit will protect...

There's no way he is using the Suit's full potential. Every time it protects him or it does some new trick Sanji gets surprised.

Sanji could already fly on his own and the invisibility is negligible at best because of CoO. And Zoro uses his swords to defend himself all the time. How is that any different than the Sanji using the suit to defend himself?

A sword is also an automatic power-up to most people even if it's to a lesser degree.

Even base Sanji can easily block comparable slashes to that with only his legs. There's no way King and Queen can't do it with their swords.

That's a double standard. There's no difference between swords and the suit. They are both weapons that enhance a fighter's ability.

The Raid Suit is his power though. He can use it any time just like any other character can use their weapon.
