Kaido can die. Big Mom is pretty unlikely. She is seen to be a character with a decent moral compass and her massive character flaws are what hold her back as a character. We've already seen she has a good side and her kingdom is content with her as their ruler compared to Kaido who is just...
Luffy always breaks villain's dreams and proves them wrong each arc. I don't know why I have to reiterate this, but Luffy tells Doflamingo he tries to control everything and everyone around him, Doflamingo tries to control everything to make Luffy lose including using parasite string to control...
>Kaido Big Mom, 2 major antagonists in One Piece
>Most One Piece characters don't ever die let alone major ones
>Oda barely lets side characters die and make their deaths just as dramatic as major ones
>Kaido and Big Mom die to magma explosions off screen despite not having any explained history...
Kaido believes might makes right and that strength/power/winning decides everything. Kaido's dream is also to die. Oda is the one who says Luffy and Co. breaks villains dreams. None of what happened broke any of Kaido's dreams. It's not hard to understand. Kaido isn't dead and Luffy isn't Joy...
Kaido also said that Luffy couldn't become Joy Boy and guess what happened.
Kaido also believed that Joy Boy will be the one to defeat him and we know Luffy is 100% Joy Boy so Kaido has to be wrong on Joy Boy being the one to defeat him. Not only that, but people who think Kaido died would...
I think that most of the Wano samurai also have wrong beliefs that have yet to be disproven that they still showed even during Luffy's seeming victory which Ussop and Kidd heavily disagrees with. The idea of seppuku or pointlessly dying is a theme Oda emphasizes on but still hasn't fully...
? I'm literally just naming what past arcs did versus what's missing now. Nothing I have stated is wrong in terms of what thematically happened nearly every arc.
You can look at every arc and see how villains are proven wrong by the main characters in each arc.
Crocodile says that friendship is bad and then loses because Luffy and co are more determined to save the country and to protect Vivi's dreams. Nami willing to sacrifice her foot solely for Vivi...
Don't know why people want Luffy to be outright stronger than Kaido. It would literally reaffirm Kaido's philosophy of might makes right which is contradictory to the themes of the story and how Oda frames the antagonists as ideologically flawed. Joy Boy being stronger than Kaido and being the...
The citizens of Wano have little reason to outright believe in Momonosuke and have less reason to believe Luffy is Joy Boy or agreeing to open Wano's borders. Why would they believe in Momo saying Kaido and Orochi are defeated without proof.
I still think Kaido's awakening will be big enough...
Depends on what we see. It's implied that Kaido and BM are drowning by the spoilers so they may not be able to move depending on it. It's likely that they might get out via the volcano exploding or they can't drown in lava and Kaido and BM fly all the way back up with BM riding on Kaido.
I think that is just to emphasize Kaido's power as the strongest creature. Luffy got 3 power ups and still couldn't fully beat Kaido. It's just like how Luffy went Gear 4 and still couldn't fully defeat doffy by himself. It's a good way to have Luffy get his endgame power ups and then have him...
because these prophecies from the good guy characters tend to come true. Oden's statements that a strong people from the next generation will come and challenge Kaido/BM in chapter 1000. Toki's prophecy must also happen. Not to mention that these chapter spoilers already have 8 shadows...
Except that Luffy still damaged Kaido significantly in their fight and advanced alot of power. If Kaido awakens, it's because Luffy knocked him out. Would it not then be symbolic if the Strawhats finished Luffy's job and disproving Kaido's mentality of strength being everything? Kaido only thinks...
Because people dont want to argue logic and just go with how they feel. None of my arguments have been based on any agenda or emotions. I just look at what the story states will happen or how it is structured.
The fact alone that none of the Wano citizens saw Kaido's and Orochi's defeats make...
How many acts will Wano be exactly? I already made my argument that 5 acts is the default amount for traditional Kabuki plays. It's a safe bet. It's not like 2 Acts are going to be that long. I already said bare minimum that we would need 4 acts with the final act being a quick and speedy...
Yonkoprod posted a hint so I'd assume it would mean something else. I know some people said Kaido and BM fans were going to be hugging each other.
People want Kaido, the strongest creature, to show awakening because it's an ability he is familiar with and gives a full description on whcih both...
I also find it weird the leakers hyped up this chapter so much and said it was really good despite the initial description and seeing how a majority of people currently don't like it. I still think they are withdrawing important info in this chapter or they're just elaborate trolls. How long...
