And literally in the next page, Midd thanks Zoro for blocking the attack.
But it doesn't matter if it is a parry or a block. It's the attack itself that is leagues above Kamusari. So yeah, Zoro will not be eliminated as you stated.
Questionable. Like it or not Zoro blocked a much stronger attack (Hakai) from 2 yonkos and a whole arc has passed since then... That means in, shonen terms, that he has level up since then, not like Midd.
Following the narrative slashes in one piece are dangerous and any top/mid/low tier is vulnerable. I'm curious to see Niki fighting a real master swordman and see how it performs. It could solidify swordmanship in OP and the need of a swordman in any crew depending on the outcome of this fight...
Shamrock: hey bro, I want to see you
Shanks: ??? fck! guys let's get out of here, we are in trouble
or
Shamerock: my bro has left Elbaph. It's our opportunity to move
Holy knights: yes sir!
One way or the other, one Figarlando smells a bit here
If the cloaks where actually the means to supress their presence, now that they are not using them properly anymore we should have already seen this
Maybe next chapter?
Did Ace had the same status as Mihawk? Because Mihawk words are aligned with the "text box title given by Oda"
and do you expect Mihawk will be defeated by a non-Zoro somebody in the following arcs?
In One Piece, slashes are like kryptonite to everyone so there's a chance Pranks can deal big damage to Nika. We haven't seen a serious master swordman vs Luffy. But there is also a chance that this is not gonna happen because Oda has again paired him with Zoro
Do you want to elevate him even more?
Oda uses the big & tough guy trope pretty well with him. Think about movie characters portrayed by Bruce Lee, Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Vin Diesel, Jason Statham and many others.
But Oda also gives him extra flavor with attributes of sacrifice...
