Speculations Zoro matchup for Elbaf ?

Minus the Domi giants? His initial fight should be vs a God Knight. Next Chapter determines if it'll be Killingham or Sommers because Oda has often given Sanji brief clashes with Zoro's opps before Zoro actually fights them.

They added that to foreshadow his battle with Mr. 1. He's being called a brute for that reason imo

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

I'd agree if they didn't mess up his color in the anime by making it white & then not fix it after the point. Only Oda can actually truly confirm it.

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

We're arguing semantics at this point. It's basically up to Oda to confirm or deny it. For me, it's either a black blade or a wooden sword either way. I'm quite familiar with the film. So when I originally saw Greenbull's blade, I immediately thought Oda might be referencing his character's...

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

Yes, I'm talking about actual swords used in combat. Everyone is aware of training swords used. It should be understood that that isn't being referenced. At least for normal people who understand the point.

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

Shinai are training swords. They're not actual swords they used in combat. It's understood that all those who practice in swordsmanship use those while training.

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

Jupeter's hair color isn't the actual only example. There are a few characters that have had different color designs. Oda doesn't vet everything in the end. Also, There's only one wooden sword in Ronin Gai and that was at the beginning of the film.

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

The manga isn't colored to begin with. That's the problem. Black can be actually black or it can be a myriad of different options. We won't know the full truth till Oda himself colors it. I think it might end up being brown imo.

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

VCS and colored manga are not colored by Oda that's why we've ended up having different colors at times because Oda's official colorings were not the same. We don't have actual wooden swords in one piece. Only bokken. If Greenbull has an actual sword of his element, which also links to his...

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

No, watch the first scene of the film. Greenbull's character carries a black sheathed sword like all of them but the difference is that his original sword is actually a wood sword that he replaces with another sword. I think it might end up just being a call back to Greenbull's character...

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

You're missing the point. That doesn't even actually matter. We actually have no true official coloring for Greenbull's blade to begin with. Only the official by Shueshia & Oda has multiple occasions had different official colors. But it goes without saying that his sword is at least dark...

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

You should watch the film again. The sheath is black and the sword itself is wooden colored. The sword he steals is what you see in the poster.

I asked for a reason because the character he's based off originally carries a fake wooden black sword lmao.

Powers & Abilities Debunking Literally Every Argument Against Ryokugyu’s Black Blade UPDATE: Remembering The Fallen

I said "so far" for a reason. Akainu doesn't carry a blade anymore. He did as a new recruit. If he does actually use one again, he'll likely use his magma to create one.
