I do think Bonney can fit as the apprentice. Not an apprentice in that she's a lower rank than the rest of the crew, but in that she's Luffy's mentee and future successor. Being mini Nika makes her perfect for this.
So it's Bonney vs Lilith now huh? I can see the arguments for both, unlike Carrot vs Yamato. I'm leaning toward Bonney being more likely, but it's hard to deny Lilith's role and dream being perfect for a strawhat. I think it's possible that both could join honestly.
We definitely need to add...
I'd like to point out that this is going EXACTLY how I said it would go if Bonney is joining. Luffy needs to beat Saturn to complete her arc, so Saturn needs to seperate from the other gorosei, likely by hitching a ride on the ship to follow them. Now it looks like that's exactly what's...
Inb4 the Vivi crew pulls out that mistranslated version of the X on the arm scene where she asks if she's their crew member instead of their nakama again :gokulaugh:
But it's not going to end with the people of Wano refusing to accept her just like Kaido said. She'll probably save the kids from a bandit or something and then they'll accept her.
Sure, but Stussy hasn't declared 3 times that she'll join the crew or heard Luffy's secret dream, and Bonney had a proper flashback, has an actual relationship with Luffy (not just biting his ear), and vibes with the crew beyond making surprise faces at normal things.
I agree with spy. I said that from the beginning. The strawhats use someone as a spy in almost every major arc, and Bonney is basically the perfect spy. She literally infiltrated the most secure place in the world during the time of highest security and got out without anyone noticing.
Technically no, he was later chosen by the church to replace Judas in status, but he wasn't one of Jesus' group. If it's supposed to be an analogy for Luffy and his crew, it only makes sense to include the group that actually followed Jesus around while he was alive. If we're talking about...
Show me where I did that? I'm not even a Luffy fan. Zoro's backstory in Wano was a huge missed opportunity and I was annoyed that Oda skipped it. The Luffy crew was wrong on that one, but the Zoro crew is wrong on this one.
Because ya'll only ever talk about how strong and badass he is, and now it seems the whole fanbase wants to avoid giving him a significant moment facing his past with Tashigi just because ya'll prefer him to fodderize her.
