What makes Lafitte such a dividing subject is that Oda himself is still trying to figure out what powers he wants to give him. If he gets something sick like the Mythical Baron Samedi Zoan, I’ll reconsider my position. :sanmoji:
It was mostly a psychological factor that reinforced Sanji’s fear of becoming an emotionless monster. In combat, Queen’s laser beams and raw strength were what troubled Sanji the most. And he ultimately had to overcome his durability to take him down.
Same with Jabra, he was a physical threat...
You think Oda pays attention to hair color when determining matchups?:Luffy_Roll:
Reminds me of people who thought Bellamy and Killer were Sanji’s brothers. :suresure:
"Slender and fast" isn’t the typical kind of opponent Sanji fights though, he fights physical beasts more often than not. And...
I think "King of Heaven" is starting to grow on me, especially because Sanji’s backstory would make the title very fitting. He has his DJ mode, which is a direct reference to the Devil, who was originally a fallen angel coming from Heaven. Sanji was originally a royalty coming from privilege and...
You have to imagine him possessing an ability that isn’t his actual power to appreciate the idea of Sanji vs Burgess, don’t you think that’s a red flag? :willight:
Come back onto the Red Line Picazarro hype train, we have cookies. :kata:
It usually ends with him taking down someone physically powerful in a brawl: Kuroobi, Jabra, Absalom, Wadatsumi, Queen and Omen-buffed Killingham with immortality. Bon Clay was the exception and it was mostly a gag fight. Rest of the time, Sanji always used his strength to overcome his...
Burgess is a possibility, but he’s yet to show the crazy durability needed against someone like Sanji. He seems way too offense-oriented as a fighter.
I just don’t see how crazy CoC-based ranged attacks would come into play against someone like Lafitte. He needs an opponent that will showcase...
How do you think Sanji’s future development in CoC influence predictions about his BBP opponent? If he needs crazy CoC mass to take down his opponent, I think it’ll make more sense to do it against a massive opponent like Pizarro, rather than a trickster/speed-based fighter like Lafitte. :sanmoji:
It’s sad to see everyone fall for his obvious rage-baiting every time. But not as sad as him having nothing better to do and getting off on that, I guess.
Makes sense. Sanji’s stocks are currently going through the roof, so his detractors go back to focusing on the 14-year-old Vergo thing because this is all they have.
