I never saw the plotline until it was seemingly closed.
Queen saw that girl, Osen (?), and his inner thoughts seemed to indicate it was his first time seeing her that afternoon- which wouldn't make sense if he had just hit her.
I may have missed something due to reading off of my phone, i...
To me the worst part of Wano is the ADHD pacing. Had Oda simply used the *and now we flash back 20 minutes again, and see what occured in the Skull Dome* mechanic so that fights could get their 1-4 chapters (and luffy vs kaido perhaps intermixed in since its quick panels and occured throughout...
Eh, I dont feel the same way. It would be a "omg, whaaat!?!?" Reveal, but the narrative would be shit. I know Gin mentioned seeing Sanji and Luffy "In the New World", but him being a prime final antagonist against the man who showed him (and his entire crew) empathy doesn't track. I could see...
I honestly thought it was a reference to Mormons. Their "guy" (not sure proper term) heard an angel speak to him and would only let 1 guy hear him translate & then scribe it to tell others. - Source, a south park episode.
My CoC knocks out all the guys in the yard, you're damn right, it's better than yours, damn right its better than yours. I could train you but id have to charge.
That was what was always weird to me about the series. Naruto "hated"/jealous of sasuke, trained with him for, what, a few months? Naruto then spends years tracking, fighting, draggin back, tracking down Sasuke again, etc. Like, god damn, dood, we dated for half a school year, 3 years ago, MOVE...
Well said. I think that my thorough enjoyment of Overhaul arc was greatly enhanced by animation (that Deku punch at end where Chisaki looks up & Deku looks Insane 🤯) & Chisaki's Eng V.A.
MHA is one of the rare shows for me where Anime Adaptation>Manga, with some exceptions. MVA was butchered in...
Is it wrong that I think MHA was only good for Overhaul arc and the rest has been a very uninteresting unevenly paced/stakes meandering mess?
I got introduced via OH arc on toonami, went back and read&watched... and i dont care about their harry potter moments. We wasted something like 5-8...
"Shadow clone shuriken jutsu! You see, i had a shadow clone disguise itself as a shuriken and then threw it to sasuke who then threw it, it being me, behind the enemy!"
"Shadow clone shuriken jutsu...wow! So naruto had a shadow clone ________"
"Theyve extracted the jinchuriki from Gaara"...
Ah, the "I love Resident Evil! I just wish they had enemies drop ammo&money, let you upgrade guns, fight LotR trolls, removed puzzles, the item box, zombies, wesker & umbrella" mindset that got us re4😂
Also, Zoro is fighting King. Have you ever been in a fight, and maybe someone mentions your strength/speed or whatever and compares you to someone. You're in a fight, you're not gonna be a humble beta "well, golly, nice of you to compliment my punch, but my older brother can kick my ass so...
Ive started clicking ignore on the sanji & zoro "fans". Same talking points, falsehoods, gifs/memes etc for an additional 10-70 pages depending on thread. It makes it much more enjoyable a forum for me, and quicker to find actual discussion.
Truth. The powers were so broken and lazy. It reminded me of 4th grade recess. "I got you!" "Well i had a shield!" "My attack disables shields!" "Well when my shields are disabled my health regenerates and i get faster". Etc.
I recently read just vol 90-92, and I'm getting serious Bleach "Thousand Year Blood War" vibes. Arc starts "alright. Maybe i was too harsh. This is badass & fun!". Arc progresses "alright. A bit sloppy. But im sure he will right the ship" arc end frame "...they're fighting an immortal chicken...
