Vegapunks VA and the way they animated endeared him quite a lot too me. So much in fact that I got emotional thinking about Apple Gramps ultimate fate.
Thats fair, but from my perspective I had the "Oh this is a chosen one story" moment very early into the series.
People got mad at G5 reviving Luffy, personally I got just as pissed at Smoker literally having Luffy on an execution platform moments away from death only to conveniently be saved...
Tbh this is what Oda meant by "making his character too strong ends the manga faster". I enjoyed the whole Yonko saga sans some low points (weddingu cakie, and Oden are my biggets Opps), but the pacing was glacial and my enjoyment week to week at times was destroyed.
It's why I'm fucking glad...
Sorry about my initial tone, I tend to let other posting anger me and I end up saying rude shit on accident.
I can see what you want from the power up but TBH I'm already tired of Luffy getting a bunch of drawbacks to his abilities, and I still don't believe that turning Nika into a full...
Imo because the Yonko saga was entirely devoted to setup for the final war.
The pacing was horrible because the Straw Hats couldn't just be strong enough to beat the Emperors+Crews easily, or else the Saga ends too quickly (which looks lopsided when compared to BB/Shanks). So Oda had to inflate...
I hate when you guys say (pardon my tone) dumb shit like this because it feels like you guys are reading Two Piece.
Oda emphasized that Zoans have extra influence over their wielders, and that some Zoans lose control during their transformations. Hell many people thought Saturn wasn't speaking...
When I say different crew arrivals, I mean that some are on that giant ship, some are on the Sunny, and Luffy + Sanji (the last to flee) are probably leaving with D&B. If sea's are rough they might get staggered arrivals with some Straw Hats like Ussopp, Robin, or Franky getting an early start...
Luffy and Ussopp were so excited to go to Elbaf that I'm starting to dread the arc the closer it gets.
Vegapunk heart monitor gave out at the end of 1108 so theres a high chance Elbaf starts off with, at minimum, a distraught Franky mourning the death of Stella and subsequent destruction of...
The 4 Emperors + Warlords are all going to take down the WG before they take down eachother. I mean the BB pirates are *also* on course to dismantle the establishment.
If OP ends soon after the One Piece is found, I can only assume theres one final fight before claiming it and it should...
They had more than just that, and the anime fleshed them out into whole episodes... Not to mention that it was a very crucial part of Robins development as a character, being able to save one of the crew for a change. Its not like there was more focus on some guy named Chopper who cured Oni Aids...
So like Robin/Brook didn't fight off a bunch of assassins disguised as their dead friends and family? I don't get you guys tbh, its like you guys read the manga at 2x speed and miss anything that isn't a 2 page fight spread.
I thought it was good because I legit thought Oda was going to let Vegapunk survive Saturn and he managed to surprise me pleasantly. If *anyone* looks bad after that interaction, it's Luffy for not covering Sanji while he carried Vegapunk out of there.
Alright so he's grabbed Kizaru and Saturn, I'm hoping he fucking spikes one of them. In muh dreams, the Iron Giant activates and attacks Marie Jois again, and recognizing Saturn as a hostile he drags him through the sea to Marie Jois (killing him in the process). Big Robro keeps Marie Jois...
I like that he is because Noland is what Ussopp will look like by EOS. Yeah he tells wild stories but he also went out to sea to make them true ones rather than made up ones.
Noland carried a whole crew when he sailed, but solo sailors tend to be quite tough adventurers. I'm hoping Oda sends...
