Marineford Arc can only be surpassed by executing a well written Death of a Major character in an arc. Like a Law in Dressrosa or Yamato in Wano. If Oda could kill off those type of characters he would ascend as an author.

Only a few have put this type of Ass whooping on Luffy, Thank You Oda , One Piecr needed tension and stakes, and you finally delivered. Now all you have to do is have IMU kill either a Loki, Gaban, or a Strawhat and this Arc will be viewed as the Best Arc in the series.

Beautiful , thank goodness we live in the era of one piece having good animation. A Full chapter fight is an animators wet dream in the 2020s.

For The First Time since 2006 , Luffy , Zoro, and Sanji Are The Final 3 fights in the arc. Last time this happened in Enies Lobby , Sanji and Zoro got 2 Chapter Fights, Luffy’s Fight lasted about 10 Chapters after those fights.
