Cracker is a unique case, it’s difficult to say really whether what Luffy did is one attack. His body was slowly crushed by being sucked in, so I would say no.
Of course it didn’t work, Vergo had incredibly strong Haki and Law had to use his strongest attack to kill him. Vergo didn’t choose to take it head on, he wasn’t that fast and the attack covered an enormous area.

You mean while they were intentionally buying time? The fact his other attacks didn’t work even asserts my point that it was a oneshot. Slapping someone may not be effective but I can oneshot them if I use my gun. Not an argument.

You can’t read if you think Law went extreme diff, he and Smoker even shared a smirk about it when their plan worked out and everyone’s heart was located, then Law immediately oneshotted Vergo.
