Joyboy Said in his review for last chapter:
„Oda awakened the story with the Awakening of Luffys Devil fruit“
And I really felt that. We all needed this new frame of creativity for the sake of the story
Yes i have the same opinion. Roger even stated that he wanted to live in the same time as Joyboy implies that Nika is fictional and Joyboy a real human. A human with such great impact on history that everybody that steps in line has the title of joyboy
I feel like Oda is a little bit trying too hard with the freedom power connecting to luffys will about being the man with most freedom and everything about this theme. I would have loved another creative G5 but I guess another gear in this arc invented by luffy had to be too much of an asspull...

He knew that you will become Joyboy by awakening Nikas Powers. plus he was sure that he ain’t Joyboy. He exactly knew. The MF knew everything
:myman:
The object would become human like because it’s human human fruit. Just like a canon became a dog. It’s no specific dog, it’s a matter of abilities and portrayal
Doffys awakening is making his surroundings strings, that’s something usual for Abstrich controlling guy. Luffys devil fruit is nika, a special human with freedom powers which concludes in manipulating everything by pure free will. Kaido with his fish fish fruit dragon type can’t do that because...
