I figure she will, unless she gives up on everything. People are willing to wait on Vivi and Jinbe, so I don’t see why we can’t wait for Yamato too regardless of how much time people think is left.
Pointless? She’s practically set on finishing the intentions Oden had started. It’s just a matter of waiting for Momo to hold down Wano on his own, unless of course Wano is never mentioned again.
Claiming that would need one to assume things like Pluton and Wano’s borders are unimportant, so if you believe that, then that’s probably where we split in disagreement right there.

Nah, it might mean we may rather to Wano sooner, unless of course one thinks the ancient weapons are...
Yeah, I’ve concluded Yamato will indeed join the Straw Hats as the 10th recruit after returning from temporary leave, like Jinbe did. Pretty excited for that to happen, but I can still see Sabo and Bonney helping out from the revolutionary side.
I definitely can’t see him as Luffy’s 10th person in a one vs. one in 11 Straw Hats vs. 11 Titanic Captains.
Speaking of which, not that I want to make people who like Kinemon, Tama, Carrot, or Vivi feel bad, but I’d definitely be more interested to see Yamato as an officer in an 1 vs. 1...
Hiyori fanning the flames of hatred
Carrot being talked about as ruler as if according to Pedro’s will, even though Pedro never talked about Carrot being ruler
An admiral being introduced just to be scared off by Shanks
Yamato’s interest in defending Wano not being made known earlier
Momo’s...
I mean, Oda fleshed out Chopper quite a bit in the span of like 20 chapters back at Drum Island, so I think we'll be fine.

If all of this including 11 Straw Hats vs. 11 Titanic Captains becomes completely irrelevant, then we all might as well stop reading this manga.
Also really puts Kid's "scum rule the world" line into perspective.

Actually, if Guernica didn't come back with Maha, and that Maha was handled the photos Guernica had, then it might be possible Guernica is still back in Wano.
Well I understand that samurai usually answer up to leaders such as daimyo or shogun, whereas pirates answer up to captains. Oda could have easily had Yamato go around calling herself a pirate similar to how Usopp did with his Usopp Pirates, whom didn't even have a pirate ship of their own...
But really though, that part about Yamato being a samurai makes me curious, because she's not being referred to as a pirate, even though Yamato said she wanted to join Luffy's crew, who's full of pirates.
