Nah, it dragged far before that, that's just the cherry on top, the whole getting off the island thing took ages, and the fight against Saturn was unreasonably dragged out considering they all figured out they can't really damage him permanently.

There's tons of chapters that dragged...
Yeah would rate it around the same, it had a pretty good start and middle part, but kinda dragged near the end, hoping the Shanks and Teach confrontation is just around the corner.
My problem with the arc was that it was dragging near the end of it, I don't see much problems with Vegapunk who is just sick of doing the things he does, he couldn't care less about living while having to let go of his lab and get hunted down by the government.
She is the embodiment of Greed, that's her motivation, she's not satisfied with just being a Vegapunk lackey.
Well seems like Vegapunk is just tired of hiding so he was ready to accept his death and hit the Government with the video he pre-recorded, he would just be baggage for the straw hats...
He seems to be done with it, if he was left alive he would just be additional baggage for the straw hats, he just wanted to peace out and leave one big middle finger to the Government.
People have to realize not everyone fights exactly the same way, Teach isn't a dodge machine, he prefers taking an attack head on because he can tank whatever comes him way, he was literally like that since his introduction.
One Piece hasn't ended yet, Teach is yet to have his own arc, he's already my fave manga villain ever, but I know when he finally makes his endgame moves he's gonna get elevated to GOAT villain status.
