In the early OP, its clear that Luffy and Shanks give the impression that they are not strong and intimidating due to their appearances + happy go lucky personalities. The Baroque Works agents in Whiskey Peak initially thought that Zoro was the captain.
Its a bit like when kid Trunks met Goku...
Which is perfect because Zoro would not like being in the spotlight. Apparently, he can literally sleep on command everywhere including the floor lol. Japanese are typically quiet and prefer to let their actions do the talking.
That was a great chapter:
- I am happy that the whole York betrayal was cut short because it was dragging on and not that interesting.
- Its nice to see Luffy's village again and Oda is definitely cooking something interesting with Makino's son.
- I like the irony that by defending its own self...
Before, the announcement they were married to other people. I was shipping them like really hard :doffycry:
Wdym its not rare to see other people shipping celebrities especially movie couple stars.
There are so many girls who want to marry Mackenyu despite knowing the fact that he is already...
I love Henry Cavill but he is really a sweet heart but I will always picture him as Superman but far from a bad choice if you want to attract a lot of new fangirls lol but he could overshadow the other cast members especially if he is not gonna be in every potential season.
Alan Ritchson has...
I think the season ends with Arlong Park. The barrel scene with the crew is probably the final shot.
Who do you think they should cast for Smoker and Tashigi ?
Aliciaxlife is one of my favorite new reactor (reached Whiskey Peak). She is funny, passionate, and observant.
I absolutely loved how she thought Smoker was Garp at the start. I still believe he is the actual new future hero of the marine.
At least, I didn't have to use my magnifying glass to find Tashigi this time :josad:
After reading it and taking a step back. I actually enjoyed that chapter. I have always liked Coby's arc and the marines more than rival pirates in the NW. I love his mindset of training even beyond Garp's...
Its bad when One Piece Reddit + Twitter are noticing her complete lack of role in the arc when they usually suck off Oda for anything. I am having Hokage summit arc PTSD when Kishimoto brought Rock Lee so he could do nothing.
All these panels and double spreads wasted on Kinemon and the Scabbards. Ironically, Tashigi is still more popular than all of them despite having no screentime and an abysmal portrayal in PH. Emily wanted Wano to be the arc where Tashigi overcomes her inferiority complex by earning the respect...
Even Kirinigiri thought that Wano was a flop despite being the most optimistic fan ever. Its heartbreaking cause I am rereading One Piece and I notice that in almost every volume Usopp fanarts Tashigi is almost always there ever since she appeared. There are fans who have yearned for more than...
If there is one thing I hope the live action changes that would be Tashigi's character. Oda has given more love and care to villains & unlikable characters to the point its beyond absurd.
