No amount of agenda will override what the creator establishes. They are equal or at least very relative. This conversation is such a stupid repeating cycle.
Sanji is a wing and comparable to Zoro and younger than Jinbei so it’s not “late”. For Sanji it’s not late narratively or in the story. Zoro hasn’t even mastered his yet and just got it.
Didn’t Vegapunk mention that awakened Zoans can take over or change the personality of the user. Like overwhelming the identity to its own will and nature?
I think that’s what’s going on and it’s more of hindrance in a fight like this. Imagine Luffy with the focus of his fight with Lucci...
Luffy needs to stop fucking around in G5 and lock in. When dealing with a no games overpowered character, his overpowered abilities are outmatched because he is isn't serious enough. You add that with the power difference, and its a wrap. Hopefully this loss allows him to take more personality...
He’s still cool, but he’s become a bit too one dimensional. The badass stoic swordsman thing took over to the point it flattened him. I miss where he was badass and had more expressions…doesn’t change the fact he’s a lot of people’s favorite character. But it’s because of that one trait or sub...
There’s nothing deep about it. It’s probably just to reveal it when the time comes, as it’s the form with the most interesting design elements most likely, and fits his fighting style a lot more. So it’s reserved. You can’t give your audience everything at once.
Yeah but you can’t really compare those remasters to what this will be. New angles, new perspectives, animation. Different studios give an entirely different feeling.
I’m surprised people thought the story board art will be the actual thing. It’s like pre production concept art you would get...
Nope, just as much as I had a random roommate from Brazil who’s younger while I was an American living in Germany, it was totally normal that she was a OP head and it was that common to have that at this point.
You’re assuming a lot. People like the story and series for different reasons. It’s...
Hmmm, you know One Piece is a global phenomenon right? Look at cons, and other forums and groups around the world. It’s very much alive. Whatever groups or forums you’re checking are still a small percentage of the fanbase of the entirety of One Piece. It’s no longer just IP that you remember it...
Speak for yourself. There are plenty of fans who care about the story and its characters. Hype moments and context I see enjoyed by many people. Its always like this until a string of sudden "hype" moments happen and the short attention span folks come crawling back wanting their threads and...
Hmmm I can’t rule out the possibility, it’s a good one considering devil fruits are manifestations of dreams and desires. Goes with the theme of the story and grand enough to seem impossible and child like.
A good idea but I’m sure the nuance of how Luffy achieves the dream will be interesting...
So many shonen series has nepotism all through it. Don’t see the point in singling out One Piece for it. Most series also don’t lay out the nepotism at the start either.
Pretty lame to don an avy of a series you think is shit, and spend multiple hours a week visiting and posting about that very same series.
The optics are clear. Its just posturing and any other regular person would look at that and go "Yeah, ok loser. You love it."
They love it enough to pretend they despise it, but it’s crack to post on a forum. Hating is not far removed from love after all. Bunch of tsunderes for Oda here
For them it’s part of the fun to hate post on a fan forum if the story goes a different way than they expect. And yes this has gone on for years, even during pre timeskip Arlong Park days. But honestly that community genuinely likes the story and engages with it.
I think it’s just what happens...
