This is a war, they're not going to waste their energy using power ups just for the sake of using them (look on how Luffy manages his energies vs Ulti and Page1). Indeed Drake returned in his base form after defeating the headliner. IMO he can't defeat an headliner in one hit in his base form...

Sanji going to Black Maria, Franky facing Sasaki, Nami and Usopp defeated, Scabbards almost defeated... this is not going to turn out well

Also Oden couldn't take a second hit. If you want to beat Kaido I think you need to endure a little more.

Usopp's conditions renforce my convinction that Nami and him took an headbutt from base form Ulti in the beginning of the match. Franky can't handle Sasaki and his squad. Sasaki is depicted as one of the candidate for the third calamity role. I think he's going to be defeated soon like Usopp...

Maybe Tama's power will force them to return to their human form in which they can be a more duable match for Usopp&Nami.

It isn't her best move by any means tho. It seems way weaker than "Ulti Meteor ???" (probably Ulti Meteor Cannon), the attack she was going to land on Luffy if Yamato didn't help him in the battle or the attack he was going to tank in Gear 4th.

I enjoyed the fight between Usopp&Nami vs PageOne&Ulti. The scene of Usopp's skull getting almost destroyed reminded me when he was beaten by Mr. 4 bat, I think the panel it's almost the same. Also it was a good choice from Oda to show the power of these two pirates that should be around (below...

I agree, I think she found in Oden a figure that really inspired her to fit the male role imposed by his father, since I suppose his father treated her badly. I hope there's a deeper explanation like this about his will to be Oden rather than find Oden cool.

Imo is one of the worst arc in One Piece, if not the worst. It was confused (a lot of indecisions), full of stretches, bad character design except for a few characters. I almost dropped One Piece cause of it.
