So it looks like Shamrock and Gunko are the final bosses of the Elbaf arc. Maybe Loki too. Some pretty big battles coming up considering Shamrock is the leader of the God's Knights. Cool character designs, I wonder what the connection to Shanks is and why they look similar. It took a while but...
I’ve read all of OP and this has been a problem Oda has had since the time skip. There are too many useless characters that convolute and dilute things it’s a big reason why Wano sucked so bad. Dressrosa was a mess, good thing Donflamingo was such a cool villain to make up for it. He doesn’t...
Welcome to the weekly reader club, OP is a helluva journey, from here on out the pacing might annoy you now that you can’t immediately binge the next chapter, but it’s always nice to be able to speak with other fans of the manga and speculate on current events without being spoiled
I hope not. Kidd taking down Shanks at this point would be downright awful and I have a feeling its gonna happen. He's not the type of character I want beating Shanks.
Sooooooooo....I heard Oda got sick and we are not getting the next chapter until mid-December? Is that right? I hope my sources are BS and I hope Oda is okay.
I have ZERO interest in a Usopp arc or Elbaf. I don't understand why the fanbase is so hyped for this island. Usopp is one of the worst characters ever. Even the designs for the giants are trash.
Nah, Oda just wrote him out of the story honestly, can't go from the big Gorosei ending back to Kizaru, guy probably flipped sides and is anti-Navy now
And that folks, is the end of the Egghead arc. The huge panel spread with all of the Gorosei was sweet. I really hope the anime does the scene justice.
I thought Egghead was pretty good, I think having the Gorosei be forced to teleport out of there was a good way to write them off without...
Mostly a recap chapter repeating the same stuff. Nothing to really see here. Saturn looks like shit though. And where the hell is Kizaru? Is he really still laying there after everything that has been going down? What was the point of including him in the arc? Oda has completely written him out.
Giving Bonney Nika powers is still trash tier writing, but credit to Oda for nerfing her. This was a decent enough chapter but didn't really move the story along before the break.
Naturally. He’s one of the primary reasons. Not because there isn’t much to dive into in the OP world, but because Oda is largely underwhelming in a lot of areas and he doesn’t give a shit about the rest of the Straw Hats outside of Luffy and Zoro. Nico Robin is one of my fave characters but she...
I mean I get it but this really just seems like Oda adding an element to the story that just makes things messy. Additional characters being able to access the power of Nika is lame in the context of One Piece. The divine follower aspect would make sense but this is not how I saw the story...
That's an interesting theory and way of looking at it. If Oda goes in this direction he may be able to partly salvage his decision in giving Bonnie the power of freedom.
But at the same time it makes things underwhelming because there's nothing special or unique about the power anymore. It even...
